Chris Gibbons: Celtic Sol Pleasure Boat Charters: “My good friend Captain Lance Timmer has retired to provide scenic tours of West Michigan along Lake Michigan on his pride and joy, "Celtic Sol". Lance is a a huge supporter of Morris Avenue Publishing and all its sister endeavors, including our backyard full service rib joint (Lance made my smoker). If you are looking for an excursion, or a weekend diversion in the summer, give Lance a call. He will show you a good time.”

Missi Durbin of Mitchell, Indiana: “I guarantee he will. We pulled into the marina as strangers, he showed us the time of our lives, and we were friends by the time we left. I hope so much that we can get back to Grand Haven again. When we chartered  the Celtic Sol with Captain Lance Timmer, It was wonderful! His whole mission was for us to have fun. He asked us what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. He knows all about the area.  We wanted to go onto the big lake. He took us out there, and the water was so rough, it was like riding a roller coaster. Meeting him and riding his boat was the high point of a great trip. Thank you so much, Lance!”

Mack Henderlong came up from Alabama for a visit, and during the surprise boat ride for his girlfriend Amanda, came up with an even better surprise - He proposed while out on Lake Michigan and she accepted....What a nice couple !

Fall in West Michigan..Actually it's not as sad time of year for me as one might think...I love the fall. For the next few months I can relax without worrying what mechanical or safety issues might be lying in wait for me on the boat. I won't have to get up early to go to the marina to scrub seagull poop off the bow or duck poo off the swim platform.

I can now get caught up on selling

all of the stuff out in my barn on

Ebay & Craig's list in order to finance

another trip to Ireland.....

....Take care and know that you are

always welcome over here at my house

for a few good lies and a hot cup of

coffee or a shot of Irish Whiskey

....Love you folks.... Capt Lance
